The 950MW solar-thermal photovoltaic hybrid project in Dubai, UAE is a national key project of my country's "One Belt One Road" and a landmark project in the Middle East market. The project includes 1×100MW molten salt tower type + 3×200MW trough type, with a total of 700MW solar thermal power generation installed capacity, and 250MW photovoltaic power generation installed capacity. The total investment is approximately RMB 28.8 billion. The project is jointly invested by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, China Silk Road Fund, Saudi International Power and Water Group. It is understood that the project has set a world record in terms of investment scale and cost-effectiveness. After its completion, it will be able to provide clean electricity to more than 320,000 residents in Dubai every year, reducing 1.6 million tons of carbon emissions each year.
